Turtle Island by Eric J. García (El Machete Illustrated)

Turtle Island is a sacred burial sight on the Standing Rock reservation that is occupied by the oil industry and their goons. This hill surrounded by the river is a key piece of land for completing the DAPL project. The Water Protectors won a battle recently but their fight is not over.  This new year let us not forget those brave Protectors who are still out there battling the cold defending their water.  – Eric J. García
