To All Defenders of Ethnic Studies:

In an effort to strengthen and expand the Ethnic Studies Departments at Cal State L.A., students, professors, and community members have come together to support the Ethnic Studies G.E. Requirement motion.

This motion would require students to take at least one of their two diversity courses from one of the four Ethnic Studies Programs: Asian/Asian American Studies, Chicana/o Studies, Latin American Studies, or Pan-African Studies.

Please join us at CSULA to show your support for this student-led movement.

Thank you for your time and efforts. If we stay united, we can’t be divided.

In solidarity,
CSULA’s Ethnic Studies Coalition

Note: The Ethnic Studies Departments are not being taken down. We are in this movement to further fortify and enrich the programs in order to ensure their long-term vitality.
